Why a Cress Sieve?

Certain seeds like cress, arugula, or basil produce mucilage when germinating, which makes them unsuitable for sprout jars. In the Keimgrün Cress Sieve, they germinate optimally: the roots grow through the sieve but remain clean and well-aerated. This way, fresh microgreens and cress succeed without soil – always fresh and nutrient-rich.

Application: It's that simple

1. Soak seeds (approx. 8–15 minutes, depending on the variety)

2. Distribute seeds evenly on the sieve (approx. 2 teaspoons for 13 cm diameter)

3. Cover (e.g., with a plate) and spray twice daily

4. After 2–3 days, remove the cover and continue to rinse regularly

5. Harvest after 6–8 days – enjoy directly with roots and shoots
