Super good 💚
Sprouts are packed with a variety of essential vitamins and minerals from an early stage. Unlike artificial, isolated supplements, such natural nutrient combinations can be much better absorbed and assimilated by the body.

Extremely delicious 👩🍳
Vitamins don't always have to be swallowed. Sprouts offer you a natural variety of flavors without the need for elaborate recipes. From spicy and succulent varieties for salads to mild variations for smoothies, there's definitely something for everyone.

Uncomplicated 🙌
The small seedlings grow almost on their own with just a little water and definitely without a green thumb. They are also not picky about their location: Often, a simple kitchen counter or another, slightly shadier storage space is enough for cultivation.
A handful of sprouts a day...
"Dietary supplements do not replace a balanced diet." - We all know this saying. But what about a natural alternative that automatically makes your diet more balanced through its diversity? ✔️
Sprouts are essentially the initial stage of regular vegetables. By eating the small seedlings early, you get exactly the nutrients that would have been needed for the entire plant to grow. 🥗
Compared to mature vegetables, sprouts sometimes contain up to 40 times* (!) the amount of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. 💥

Fresh vitamins? It's that easy 🌱

1. Soak seeds
Soak 2-3 tablespoons of your mixes or individual varieties in your sprouting jars according to the times on the packaging.

2. Rinse twice a day
In the evenings and mornings, you then refill the glass with a little water, swirl it briefly, and place it back at an angle.

3. Harvest & Enjoy
On average, you can remove your sprouts from the jar after about 5 days and use them in your favorite dishes.

Do you have questions? We have answers!
Are sprouts a new thing?
No, but no less impressive! In various cultures around the world, sprouts have been used as food for thousands of years. In Chinese cuisine, for example, bamboo shoots and mung bean sprouts are very popular ingredients, and mung bean sprouts have also been used in Indian dishes for a long time. So you see - sprouts have already proven themselves! 😉
Why should I grow sprouts?
Sprouts are young vegetables that you can conveniently grow and harvest at home in just a few days.
Because they don't grow into a complete plant, you'll find the same nutrients as in mature vegetables—just in a much more concentrated form! For example, many varieties contain, on average, up to 40x more vitamins and minerals per gram.
In terms of taste, the sprouts also have a lot to offer. The different varieties provide an extra portion of crunch and freshness—in almost all dishes.
Last but not least: growing your own vitamins is extremely sustainable. Normally, vegetables don't come from Germany during the winter. Microgreens & sprouts are not only regional—they come directly from your windowsill!
How many sprouts should I eat per day?
We take a very pragmatic approach and say: Listen to your body!
Just start with 1-2 handfuls per day - and observe how you feel over time.
Can I do this even without a green thumb?
Sprouts are guaranteed to grow successfully, even without a green thumb and with little time commitment; you only need to rinse them briefly twice a day. You should also ensure they are cultivated at a room temperature of approx. 18-20 degrees and avoid direct sunlight.
If something still doesn't work out, we are always there for you!
What does my daily portion of vitamins cost me?
On average, depending on the seeds or sprout mix, you get a full sprout jar for approximately €1-2. So, if you make 4 portions from it, for example, your daily extra portion of natural vitamins will only cost you 25-50 cents!
Is this something for the whole family?
Absolutely! Try surprising your loved ones with the matching sprout mix at your next breakfast, side salad for lunch, or dinner. Many of our fans have already won over even the pickiest eaters this way!
Can I also use regular seeds?
Normal vegetable seeds are generally not suitable for sprout cultivation. Sprouts are made from specially bred seeds optimized for sprout cultivation. Such seeds are typically free from harmful substances and pathogenic germs. Furthermore, they are produced under hygienic conditions to ensure the safety of the sprouts.
What makes Keimgrün so special?
We support you in achieving a sustainable and varied diet with sprouts. Our unique sprout mixes have been developed to easily integrate into your personal eating habits.
All varieties come from organic-certified producers in Europe, with each new batch being checked for its current germination capacity. As one of the market leaders, we have been on the market since 2018 and know what is important for successful sprout cultivation: high-quality seeds and equipment combined with plenty of variety!
What is the difference between sprouts and microgreens?
Microgreens & sprouts come from the same seed - the vitamin content is often very similar too. They only differ in their growing method and taste:
Microgreens typically grow in soil within 8-10 days and require sufficient light to grow.
Sprouts require nothing but water - not even proper daylight - and grow in just 3-7 days.
We focus on sprouts, as they are easier to care for, especially for beginners, and thanks to our mixes, also much more diverse than microgreens. This makes it easier for you to integrate them into your daily life in larger quantities and truly reap their benefits.
