Red Kohlrabi sprouts impress with a fresh, mild, cabbage-like taste that is pleasantly sweet and delicate. The delicate pink-violet sprouts with their green leaves provide a decorative, color-intensive accent on any dish.

Usage: Ideal as a side dish to cheese, salads as well as vegetable, meat and fish dishes, also perfectly suitable for decorating appetizers and sandwiches. The sprouts also provide a fresh burst of color and flavor as a topping for bowls and soups.
Cultivation: Traditionally grown in a sprouting jar or on a cress sieve, alternatively also possible as microgreens - kohlrabi seeds are dark germinators and sprout best without direct sunlight. The sprouts are ready for harvest after approx. 5 to 9 days, as microgreens it takes a little longer.
Ingredients: Organic kohlrabi red seeds (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes).

- Microbiological Testing: Our suppliers test each batch to ensure that no seed-borne pathogens such as fungi, bacteria, and viruses are present.
- Standard Testing: A standardized test is carried out as a first step.
- Adjustment of Growing Medium: Depending on the variety and the results of the first test, the procedure is repeated on a different growing medium.
- Additional Testing: Special varieties undergo a third test, which includes specific conditions such as the use of heating mats.
